Organizing regular parents’ meetings at each construction site to explain the importance of education and school enrolment. This helps motivate the parents to come forward and enrol their children in school with assurance of our support. Builders have also started coming forth to support the onsite schools.

Earlier, we were focused on enrolling our children into municipal schools in Pune. With the introduction of the “Right to Education Act” in April 2010, we have taken the step of approaching private schools for admissions. We are receiving positive responses from schools and 210 children have been enrolled so far.

These visits have a profound impact on children, fostering positive changes in their overall personality, social skills, and emotional development. They help build confidence, encourage a love for learning, and contribute to the growth of essential life skills that will benefit them in the long term.

One teacher will work with 50 children to ensure that the children are regular user of library throughout the year.
Weekend Sessions
On Saturday or Sunday children will be called for one and a half hours session. Hence there will be 4 classes in a month.
Book Lending
Every child will select a book for home lending. Record will be maintained using library card.
Peer Exchange
If a child completes reading a book before next weekly library session, then she/he can exchange among his/her friends from library.
Supervisor Guidance
Session will be held in the teacher's house or in the community hall or in the temple in the vasti.
A supervisor will visit the class twice a month and guide the teacher on library functioning.
